Rhythm City is on again and this time we're on
the Southside of Brisbane. It's a FREE program where people of all cultures
come together to play Reggae, Roots and Rhyme! Participants form groups and
are coached by a professional music coach for 2 hours a week over 5 weeks. We
finish off with a fantastic concert at the Brisbane Multicultural Festival on
the Rhythm City stage!

creACTive @ Brisbane Powerhouse during school holidays
creACTiVE
music programs will again feature at the Brisbane Powerhouse these school holidays.
Programs for children aged 4-8 and 9-12 will be held from July 3 - 12. Costs
range from Free to $99 for the 5-day Powerbandz Workshop
Programs include Powerjam, where children can explore musical performance using
jam2jam software on the latest Apple Computers.
Recreational music programs for children aged
9-12yrs and 13-18yrs will be offerred from Term One 2008. Northside and Southside
venues are: Albion (Brothers Rugby Union Club at Crosby Road) and Underwood
(Ellaways Music Auditorium)

The Cairos won the 2007 Brizband Challenge.
Brizband is on again in 2008.
So Brisbane high school bands start writing new songs and getting ready for
a great gig of gigs.
